Go Uemura, a member of the 61st graduating class of the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court, joined the firm. Mr. Uemura received his LL.B. degree from the University of Tokyo in 1998 and has seven years experience at a major Japanese network. Afterwards, Mr. Uemura entered the University of Tokyo Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, where he graduated in 2007. Mr. Uemura was admitted to the Japan bar in 2008 and previously worked at a major law firm, focusing his practice on corporate law, especially finance and intellectual property.

Setsu Sasamoto, a member of the 53rd graduating class of the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court, joined the firm. Before joining our firm, Ms. Sasamoto worked at a patent law firm in Japan as an attorney and has been actively involved in the intellectual property field. Ms. Sasamoto received her LL.M. degree from The George Washington University Law School, gained experience as a trainee at a US law firm and is also admitted in New York.
