Shinji Suzuki, a member of the 64th graduating class of the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court, joined the firm. Mr. Suzuki received his LL.B. degree from the University of Tokyo in 2005, and his J.D. from Gakushuin University Law School in 2010. Mr. Suzuki was admitted to the Japan bar in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he was as an associate with another law firm in Tokyo where he specialized in business law, family law, civil litigation and criminal practice.

Kazuhito Tatebe joined the firm as Counsel. Before joining our firm, Mr. Tatebe has had a distinguished career, which includes serving as Japan’s Ambassador to Luxembourg and also Executive Vice President of the Japan Mint. Previously, Mr. Tatebe served as Executive Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Counselor to the Permanent Delegation of Japan to the O.E.C.D. in Paris.
